Roaring Meg Community Support Awards

COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These awards are only open to community projects from within The Comet (North Hertfordshire) footprint, including the distribution areas of Letchworth, Stevenage, Hitchin, Baldock and surrounding villages.

Entries will only be accepted from community projects that are currently being developed and/or implemented and need the extra funding, not for projects that have been completed.

The Comet newspaper will follow up the project with editorial content once the project is completed or at a stage to suit the editorial team.

By entering the competition you are granting permission for your project to be used by The Comet newspaper (Archant) to promote the Roaring Meg Community Support Awards.  You are also agreeing to Archant storing and using your information for marketing purposes. Archant will not share your information with third parties unless you specifically agree to these details being shared and you can opt out at any time by unsubscribing from emails or emailing Archant directly.

This promotion is sponsored, endorsed and administered by the Roaring Meg. By participating you hereby release The Comet newspaper from any and all liability associated with this promotion.

Entries must be submitted by the deadlines advertised. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are not received for any reason.

Please read these competition rules carefully. If you enter an Archant competitions, the company will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to them.

To enter the Roaring Meg Community Support Award you must be a UK resident

The winner will be the entrant selected by Roaring Meg.

The prize money of £2,000 should be used for purchase of materials or products and must not be used for payment of consultancy fees or wages.

The closing date is as specified in each competition, and The Comet or Roaring Meg reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.

If you win, Archant will notify you by telephone or e-mail. If the company cannot contact you or you do not respond within two weeks, Archant reserves the right to offer the prize to another competition entrant.

The prize is non-transferable.

Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.

The Comet and Roaring Meg reserve the right to amend these rules at any time. If this occurs then the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules will be published in The Comet on the relevant competition page.
